With Tinting that is. I live in a part of CA, where people are getting cheaper or going bankrupt. Once i finish my inventory, i will stop. I just cant compete with shops around me, when they are charging $75 to tint a 350Z. $130 To tint an entire 4 door car, well except the windshield and claim to be using Llumar/3m. Now i'm going to lobby for a president that's not scared of closing our border.

Things aren't as easy as they once were in this industry, but the rollercoaster remains the same, for every low there is a high. If you can stick it out and gain a quality reputation it won't matter what your competition is charging... Good luck

Its sad that some tint just to feed their family or their drug habit, instead establishing a profitable business.

I recently raised my prices, which is making me acutally more money, but now that summer has started, hacks, 1 year tinters/heroin addicts are doing jobs in suntek/solargard hp for $89.

Must be nice to make...what?....$60 after deducting gas, material, and drive time.

Offer something no one else does. There arent too many places around that only offer auto tinting and nothing else.

I will also add...get the hell outta Cali! Ranked #50 for business, where NY is 49. Govt sure does want us to be like those two states though dont they? Any clue which state is #1?

One thing that may help is if mannys required a business liscense on file and a tax # before selling Pedro a roll of film. JMO.
