this is definately how most of these quarter windows should be done. once you take them out once, then next few times are super easy and fast. plus much cleaner work! this is from a 2008 ford fusion

Screw at the top under the door seal or something right? Can't recall, but a lot are like that

I have been removing quarter windows on a few cars lately but how the heck do you keep them from getting specs of dust under film?

i have another fusion to do this weekend, it'll take pics of step by step how to remove them. and far as specs, im not really sure what you're talking about once i take them out and take the gaskets around them, i clean them probably 4 times before i apply the film

I trim a hairline of rubber then it easily slides right in place and ez reach pushes it right out, but to each their own..

i have tried this also, worked with one fusion, didn't with the other

as for as the thread with step-by-step pics, i think the links for the pictures on that thread are broke because when i needed it a couple months ago i was unable to use it, so an additional one wont hurt
