Someone please help!!!!

As title i have recenly completed my training and have had some really good experiences so far. i have succesfully completed a corsa c, a saxo 5 door, ford focus, and my astra van.

i was doing really well untill today when i tried a mazda 3 2006 plate, i flew through the side windows and the rear quarter glass with no problems at all (looked fantastic), then i came to the rear screen and for some reason i couldnt shrink the rear screen! i tried and tried but i couldnt get it right, Has anyone else had trouble with these or is it just me, i am so dis-heartened by today that i am considering what to do next, so please any advise is taken with open arms, i wet shrink with a gold card wrapped in tissue, im wetting the screen laying the film, loose cutting, then i seperate the fingers down to an even amount, then i try shrink but just seem to keep creasing i just dont know what im doing wrong :'( someone please help. thanks

Try soap.

Chill out over it. Don't rush, it is all part of the learning process.

If you're most comfortable wet shrinking (dry would eventually be easier with practice), Take the tissue or paper towel off

the hard card (it's not necessary and you have more feel without it). Keep those fingers moving, as in shrink some and then move the finger

over a little and shrink some more. Try laying them down gently with your bare or gloved hand as you shrink. It's a feel thing to avoid creases.

The hatchback Mazda3 can be a little trying, but you can do it. Good luck

Slow down and lower the temperature on your heat gun if you can. Good luck.

ya i will use a damp cloth or damp paper towel so it will push fingers out and not crease them. after i have it mostly layed down good then i will use a gold card and get it perfect. i dont dry shrink a whole lot either

You might want to start trying a dry shrink method either powder or soap. You can search it up here to get more info. It will definitely make life a lot easier.
