I just got the windows tinted on my brand new tundra this week. They didn't look too bad until I rolled the windows down today. What a chop job! This tint has a nice gap all they way around and certain spots are really bad. The shop that did them is actually a 4x4 shop who does window tinting as well. They are supposed to lift my truck and install new tires this week. However, after seeing the tint job they did Im a little worried about their quality. Im looking at two options. 1. Having them redo it and make sure its done correct, or take my money and go to another shop. The shop uses Advantage film, and Ive heard its not the best quality film. I talked to my brothers buddy who used to tint for a living. He said that Advantage tint isn't very good and that I should lean towards Llumar film to best match my Tundra's back windows. The Advnatage film has a green tint and the factory Toyota tint looks more brown. What would you guys do? How does Advantage film compare to the other brands such as Llumar? What is a good film that will most likely match the factory tint of my Tundra? BTW.. I live in the south so I get a lot of direct sunlight that likes to bake vehicles.

Thanks in advance. I figured Id go directly to the pros.

i agree some pics would tell us a lot. i'd like to see the gap myself. but otherwise, i would take it back and address your concerns with the shop. if they care about their business they'll make it right with you. and as far as advantage film, i've never heard of it. i would assume its probably not top of the line but who knows. but there are lots of great films out there and Lumar is just one of them. i myself use johnson window film, the marathon line and really like.

i guess overall just communicate your concerns with the shop and if they act as if they don't care then i'd take my business elsewhere. also, get a few pics! hope this helps a little...

Im located south of Atlanta. Here's some pictures. I don't want to be a hard azz, but Im a bit picky and don't want a crap job on a $42,000 truck. By the time Im done, Ill have close to $50,000 wrapped up in this truck. I want the tint, along with the lift, tires and wheels, to look classy and clean. Heres some pictures, they aren't great, but you can get the idea.... Again, thanks guys. I appreciate the help.

BTW.. I cant seem to get my pictures uploaded. I tried to resize them and it still says they are too big. How big is 15K?
