Windows....stairs... oh my.

Recommended Posts

There is a window that is on the 2nd/3rd floor.... and has a curved staircase in front of it.... and I can not for the life of me figure out a safe (heh... or dangerous at this point) way to reach it in order to tint it.

I don't like the looks of that!

An extension ladder would have to be pretty vertical and how

the hell would you even get it in there? If you could, then extend over the

top and reach through the ladder to work.

Or sometimes ya just gotta say :cool and move on to the next one.

That hasn't happened to me yet, but that looks pretty tough.

Good luck and post back your solution! :woowoo

Genie AWP30S aerial one man personnel lift scissor goes straight up and some have wheels to tow behind your truck

For the one on the left I have put a 6' or 8' double sided ladder or little giant at the bottom of that set of stairs on the landing and put a 12" wide plank on the ladder over to the stairs towel the stairs and have some one hold the ladder kind of a polish scaffold but it works!

Are you talking about the window obscured by the banister rail and posts? Could you not set an extension ladder against the side wall and climb over the banister to the ladder? That way you'd be able to seat the ladder a decent working angle, instead of trying to think of a way to get both a body and the ladder into that confined space :cool:woowoo
