I have a question. Im still a newbie for sure but my question to every one is this. How important is a clean shop? Ive been thinking of going mobile and tinting at auto detailing shops as well as car audio and dealerships but some of the shops Ive seen are dirty. Will this cause a lot of contamination? Also Id love some input from other mobile installers on how they do at other shops.

I wouldn't recommend tinting at a shop where they don't care about cleanliness.

You and I are customers right? Ask yourself this... would you take your car to a shop that looked dirty? Hell no. You wouldn't go back there.

If your still pressed on working there, tell the shop owner how important it is to keep the place presentable and that image is important to customers. I know its hard to keep a detail shop clean, I work alongside a detailer. I am constantly cleaning. All in the name of a professional image.

a clean shop is important, but not nearly as important as a shop with very little to no air flow. My shop is airconditioned, but only for the custy's. No air flow in my shop at all around where I tint.

I can tint in the dirtyest shop around until a breeze comes through. It can mess up air quaility for more then a hour for everything to settle. :gasp
