Stolen wholesaler's film in Sydney

Johnson films have contacted me today as part of their information process to advise that they were knocked off last night and about 200 rolls of 20" car film may hit the market on the cheap so be aware.

No one likes this happening to anyone whether we use this distributor or not so be on the lookout for any offerings of "cheap film."

If we see anything on Ebay or get approached directly, I'm sure JWF or the cops would like to know more about it.

Tint Terrorist in Oz ....

they're are easy to distinguish is oz as they roll out the opposite to normal and they have a blue core....why any bastard would want to steal and try to get away with this i don't know.. i feel sorry for spenc, Miles and glenn hope they sort it all out

Spencer said that these crims were very selective and didn't touch the more expensive flat glass rolls and only targetted the auto so even Dick Tracey could deduct that the joint has had an inspection done prior.

Besides that, they knew where the cameras were too and turned then around.

But what good would tint be to any Joe Blow?

As we know this is not a product that is useful to anyone outside of film unless there is a lot of gift wrapping going to be sold at Xmas.

My bet is it will either be installed by some back yard tinter who knocked the joint off or sold as destroy-it-yourself on Ebay.

Who would be stupid enough to steal 35% it's hard enough to sell.

I personially would have gone for some PD or IR series film.

Either way that really sux I will keep my eyes open on ebay. But I bet it get's used up by who stole it or sold on a more local level.

the tint world is small, word travels fast. Just a matter of time...

Funny how it is almost a world wide small community.

Besides what goes around come's around. Even if noone ever find's the film. Maybe someday Krama will bit the person who stole it in the ass.
