Llumar HP vs Sunteke HP

Hows does Llumar shrink compared to Suntek HP? I'm currenlty using mostly Global, which i love, but once i run into a somewhat difficult bg, it takes 3x as long and takes alot more effort just to fail.

I've used Suntek HP in the past and never had problem shrinking, but I recently ordered from them and I swear the film felt thinner, making it kinda hard to install.

So basically can any of you guys name any HP film that shrinks effortlessly. Im considering Llumar and possilbly Solar Gard, which is only miles away and I've never tried them.

Give an example, I've done a 944 in ATR CH, c6 corvette, Beetle, to name a few. I haven't used Suntek in a while but the ATR CH is about as easy as it gets.

The /Man, I actually thought of you earlier, when i was fighting some True Black on a 94 Sentra.

Did it twice and I'll admit, wasn't my best. I've never seen 6 fingers within 1 inch, that were 1/16" tall at the bottom/corner of the BG.

It shrink like crazy, Best 1.5 mil window film I've ever shrank

The ATR shrinks better and lays flatter than the ATC IMHO .

But don't most NR films shrink better than HP's?

Coast to Coast, I remember you mentioning JWF and since you have used Suntek for some time and switched to JWF, I really have to sample JWF.

once you shrink Marathin or renegade you won't wanna phuck with anything else.

And yes I was a suntek user for about 8 years, and over that time I watched their price's go up and their quaility go down. You can scratch that chit by rubbing it against your t-shirt.

I gotta say I use to love LULU as well but their price's are crazy high too. I checked into getting back to using LULU back this winter, but I couldn't see it was worth almost twice the price of what I'm using now. :thumb

I gotta say I use to love LULU as well but their price's are crazy high too. I checked into getting back to using LULU back this winter, but I couldn't see it was worth almost twice the price of what I'm using now.

Unless things have changed, ST HP and LL ATR shrink similarly. The main difference would be color stabilty, ATR is, ST HP is not. Also warranty of LL ATR is labor inclusive, ST HP is not. Lastly ATR's installed appearance is preferable (imo) to ST HP. To be fair, ATR is higher priced than ST HP, but the differences justify it.

If J's M or R is half price their giving it away. What will matter most with Marathon or Renegade is how those rear screens hold up 2-3 years down the road in hot climates?

Thats a real concern too, especially since the climate im in takes out cheap dye films in months. I'm definelty gonna get some sample of JWF and LLumar. In the meant time, Im not even gonna attempt "any" difficlut BG in anything but Suntek HP. I will lose my mind trying to fight films that don't shrink for shiat, when i can use a film that shrinks with my eyes close.
