Sun Shade Film Systems from Sooke, BC is looking to add an experienced, independent flat glass installer(s) to our business.

Residential / Commercial / Marine / ??

Usual references required. Experience with heavy security films is a must.

Work area is mainly south Vancouver Island, Gulf Islands but contracts involving travel are always on my radar.

Sun Shade is a 15 year Madico / SafetyShield / Huper Optik dealer.

  EZ Pass Readers - Ceramic Tint
  
  I have an issue with one of my cars with Peach Pass (express lane pass), which is not reading properly, but I don't think the film is causing this issue. All my other cars have Ceramic or Crystalline with no issues same for all past vehicles. This car has an IR emitter for night vision directly above where I placed it, so I think interference from that may be causing my issue. I will be relocating it to confirm. I would relocate it to see if that helps or could just be a defective transponder.

  EZ Pass Readers - Ceramic Tint
  
  Back in the days ......when my cars had comfort film in it, there was cutout up top and Botton in the middle of the windshield to accommodate for this. So far, in my experience, I don't think my toll pass transponder is working behind Xpel Plus Windshield. For those more familiar, are the EZ Pass readers working behind Ceramic Tinted Windshields ? Out here we have many readers that are based on camera reads. But the ones that are reading the physical transponder, this is where it appears to not be working

  Tint 2023 Volvo S90
  
  I preload tint for a local Volvo dealer. Some s90s have folding headrests. Some dont. It's really frustrating because there is such little space.

  I'm still fairly new so i haven't used a lot of film but i started with global and switched to Geoshield and really like that film, but I'm also thinking of trying union film because i have a discount with them. because i took the tint school online course

  Inquiring minds want know = other than price, why are you not happy with Global?? Your title asks about the top manufacturers. Well you are not happy with one of them and the only other two choices would be Llumar or 3M. Anything else you go with is still more than likely one of these 3. At least you better hope it is.
