Looking to offer a high end film

Recommended Posts

Hi

I was thinking of adding a high end film line to offer to my customers and I was considering Llumar CTX or Madico's (Wincos)

Any sugestions or feedback will be appreciated or other brands I should consider as well.

Thank you

Wincos is nice but CTX will allow you to offer a more appealing price, easier to install and IMO looks better since it more black in appearance.

I really like the CTX but I find it more blue than black. I was missing ATX as soon as I opend the first roll CTX.

The first brand new black Cadillac I put in on, the coustomer was not happy with the color at all! I still feel like I got lucky he didnt have me remove it.

Ive been able to move a little of it but nothing like the ATX. Im still pushing it for heat rejection but I have to be careful to make the color a topic of concern for some people.

It did have that blue hue especially in the 30/40 percent range. CTX now has come full circle with nearly the same appearance as the old ATX but performs slightly better.

Absolutely I'll try the CTX but between the CTX and Wincos wich one is thicker? and also I have been using in the past : Global QDP, Suntek (Carbon) and currently using 3M FXP series and 3M(CS) so with that been said is there any comparison with the brands before mentioned?

Thanks

CTX feels 2x as thick as the Wincos, the Wincos takes a patient and talented hand but lays down nice. CTX works just like any other film. As for the blue, that is gone in the last couple months. I thought they just took out some of the iridescence of it, but I had 2 difference rolls of the 40 on my white cutting table and they were very difference now. Current CTX is pretty close to ATC in color but maybe a bit more green. I just did a new maxima in the new rolls of 40/30 yesterday and it was really nice looking.

GO WITH 3M

im actually using 3M FXP and CS but their high end line Crystaline cost a lot more than any other brand and the price is comparable with Huper and the thing is that I don't thing people in my area is gonna pay big money for the crystaline.

And my alternatives are either Wincos or CTX :dunno
