what's your time

Recommended Posts

I know that this is going to vary on each car but what is everybody's average time on 4 door cars, or just whole vehicles in general by yourself? I am giving myself about 3 to 4 hours and am kinda stuck on that just can't seem to get it any faster.

Slayer means "dick measuring contest" which is what these threads always become.

I'm a 2 hour guy, there are 45 minute guys and 4 hour guys.

No need to measure dicks here...Ill post pics if needed but let me say this when all the dicks are called to a meeting.....well I'm DICK HEAD!.......WAIT A Minute THAT DON'T SOUND RIGHT ...HEAD DICK.... yep thats better...

Really thought time is of the essence because time is money, but to rush a job just for times sake is a major NO NO 2 to 2.5 hours on a 4 door is average for 1 person up to 3 hours if you pull panels trim etc. then through in dealing with other clients during your tin job.

Really unless you don't know how to schedule your jobs then it can become a problem, over scheduling 5 tint jobs in an 8 hour day each of which is a 2.5 hour job then you throw a 45min lunch break into the mix the 15 min. of restroom breaks. 30 to 45 min of dealing with the public 20 min for each car explaining care of the new tint and receiving payment etc. you get the jest.

What I am trying to say is if all you do is install" do the tinting in general" You could do the same tint job in

1.5 hr to 1.75 hr while some one else is playing front man . what I am trying to say is that their are way too many variables
