What problems can arise if you shrink the whole bg?

Would there be potential problems if you heat the whole back glass first and then do it in sections? If you're doing it in sections, what is the best way to do it? Up down or left or right? Sometimes when i go up and down i get creases because of the tension created. Any advice would be nice. thanks.

Not quite sure what you mean by left/right/up/down. Always shrink towards the factory edge/grain. When doing sections it's ussualy divided into four corners. Depending on how you anchor more/less film is available to be shrunk.

depending on how you are shrinking you film.

either way you should prbably start by anchoring the film close to the middle.

Wet shrinking: you will want to bring all your finger's to the top and bottom of the glass. Start from the outside and shrink one finger at a time until you get to the middle, then repeat this on the otherside.

Dry shrinking : I like to use the soap method. Make the h apttern on the BG. Then start in the middle of the BG with your heat working it from side to side and smoothing out the film along the way to the top and bottom of the window.

This is something very hard to explain. You should probably watch a few video's on shrinking film to get a better idea of what you are doing. :slayer
