troubleshooting plotter

I have been cutting some small vinyl stickers for a customer and noticed that the cuts arnt so great, I figured if I got a new blade that the smaller fonts would come out better. I swapped the blades and tried adjusting the offset and force but with worse results then the previous blade. I then decided to switch back to the old blade and I still have these worse results. I can get the test cuts to a perfect square but the triangle in the middle is always messed up. Its like whenever there is an angle or curve, It gives me a squiggly, inconsistent cut. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

how small are you trying to cut? and what kind of plotter is it? also, what software are you using?

the stickers are 2.5 inches tall, and the smallest font on them is about 12-14 bold font. Im using an older version of flexi and I have a DGI omega plotter. Its got to be an issue with the plotter or blade set up, just not sure what.

any suggestions would be appreciated

Have you checked your cutter protection strip? if there are any cuts in the tefflon strip it wont give good rear support for the blade to push on.
