01 IS300

Do the older Is300's like the 2001 have the same peanut problem as the newer models? Anything else to watch out for? Will be using 3M FX Premium on it.

back window is hardly curved, shouldn't really be an issue.

Ya, easy breezy.

Whole car was EASY. However, I did not do anything with the lines the first time, sure enough, peanuts everywhere, stripped it and then wetsanded down the lines and no more peanuts.

I did an '02 today, and had major peanut problems with the simple-to-shrink back window.  I really wish we could start some kind of database or list of specific year/make/model cars with peanut problems.

 

I have been tinting for many years, and don't look up cars prior to installing on every single car, and absolutely hate being surprised by this problem only AFTER it's too late.
