You beat me to the punch. This is for sure the best resource for tinting. I wish it had yearly updates though. FYI they don't sell the book anymore, just the computer version.

Most door panels are pretty straight forward. You will get the hang of it, diff cars are diff.....but what i do is remove all screws/bolts that I can find.

Then, I begin to pop the panel off, starting from the front, and if I can't completely pull the panel off, I know where the screws/bolts are left. Try using the bone stick.

The hardest cars are those Euro ones.....esp the new BMW 7 series....that locking pin!!!!!!!!

Read the 4th heading: Rear Window Specs "lists the number of strips needed"

I wouldn't be getting that manual anytime soon :dunno

auto glass websites are also great. They usually explain how to take out the window/mirror, but its basically the same thing.

you don't have to go by how they tell you to tint it, its just somewhere to start. It gives you a visual of the car and an estimate of time and instructions for rear decks and door panels. It works great for us atleast but its not for everyone. We use it mainly as an estimating program though.

I wouldn't buy anything from them. Look at their site, take a look at the linked forum.

Nothing but spam. If they don't care enough to monitor their own site, I wouldn't feel comfortable buying anything from them.

Just my :lol
