Ya know, when the rolls are bad, I actually think you're better off NOT removing all you can from the edges. Problem is, by time you find out it's rolling off, it's too late, you've tinted like you normally do.

This happened to me last January with a dual reflective 20%. Got 1/3 of the job done in 6 hours, which was longer than I expected the whole thing to take. It was below zero and the insulated glass was cold. Got the film replaced (same stuff, different lot numbers)and returned and finished the job in a couple of hours. Good thing business in Michigan is pretty slow in January.

I would straight flip the fok out.. it just makes a good installer look like a fly by night rip off. Id have a hard time not taking it personally.

they put too much tension on the film when they apply the hard coat ,so that can cause a couple of problems, it wont lay flat the other effect you can get from that is obsessive fingering after the install

seen it before. I use Suntek 35BR everyday on a special project and have the same problem. i found if you use like, scott blue paper towels and dry the edges very well the problem is lessened
