Hanitatek now has an energy modeling program to aid in bidding and proposing Hanita Window Films for energy savings. If you would like some more information just call the office or send an email. If you would like to secure your license yourself follow the steps below.

To secure your license for EnergyPlus/EFILM, please follow these steps:

1. Visit www.fenestration.com/docs/efilm/EFILM_Hanita_Coatings_Setup_1.3.03.exe and install the EnergyPlus/EFILM software on your computer. Note this license is assigned by email address and will only install on the computer from which the license was requested.

2. When you try to open the program for the first time, you will get an option to “Register” or “Get Key”. Click this link and enter your contact information. When you submit that information, HanitaTEK will get an email to issue a license to you.

3. Within 48 hours you will receive the license KEY – please copy and paste the license KEY and Name to avoid typographical errors.

4. Once EnergyPlus/EFILM is installed and you have opened the program, please email Simulations@HanitaTEK.com for the recently updated Library File of all film and glass combinations.

All the major manufacturers use the same EFilm program with their particular product libraries loaded. we use it a ton on the west coast and it blows the old Demand Analyzer program away. You can model a building much more accurately with EFilm. If you are playing in the energy reduction field, this is a must use program in my opinion.

Thats awesome! Are you guys requiring any type of training to ensure the reports are run properly and to reduce the chances of incorrect data being used to facilitate a film sale?

Yes Tim, our own Mark A. Carlson, CEM, USGBC, LEED Green Associate has produced online training that we will require.

Please feel free to view it at

http://www.hanitatek.com/training/EnergyPl...ning/index.html

We also have continued training available for

USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) http://www.hanitatek.com/training/USGBC

&

AIA (American Institute of Architects) http://www.hanitatek.com/training/AIA
