I have been using LLumar ATR 40 CH to put on all Maryland vehicles (35% is the law, and that is the closest we found without going below 35). I saw that they now have ATR 35. Has anyone used that? and does it meter out to 35% or slightly higher? I was probably going to get a sample box and do a couple of my windows and see how it comes out.

As always Howard is on the ball, good info!

Ive done a fair amount of tint for Maryland residents ATR 40 will be trouble free for you 99.9% of the time.

Keep in mind you should test meter vehicals regularly. I find a lot of older stuff on the road can be that touch darker ie true 35.

Yeah, normally most vehicles I do meter out to approximately 37 to 39% so we're safe. We are one of the few (actually, its the only) shops around here that tints legally and we have done that since we started
