Ceramic tint job still splotchy

We had our new Volvo's windows tinted last Thursday (5 days ago). Most of the windows have dried but the splotches on one window have not gone away. They are essentially unchanged in number and character. How much more time should we give the tint to cure before going back to the shop for a redo? Is the tint applied on the inside or outside? Thanks

Which brand ceramic and how big are the sploches? Dime size, nickel, quarter?

Mostly dime or smaller but one or two quarter size. Johnson is brand.

i always tell customers that ceramic films are designed to reject more heat thus it takes longer to dry. park it outside (facing north) for a few days and let it get the full days worth of sun, itll dry. after 2 weeks if its not showing progress THEN take it back.

If they are still using single ply TiN then the nano-structure of the ceramice makes for a very tight vapor barrier and it can take up too 30 days for dime or smaller size water bubbles to disappear and sometimes even longer for the hazy water spots that are remaining to disappear. A lot of this is dependent on how much sun exposure the vehicle gets, more is obviously better than less. Quarter sized bubbles will not disappear -imo that is way too much moisture left behind. They need to use the right squeegee and not limp wrist it. :D
