XPEL Finishing Solution

Recommended Posts

do you charge for it? is the application as easy as wiping it on

We do not charge. You should be sealing the film after the installation on every job anyway. Remember you just opened the pores of the PPF by stretching the film. Finishing solution is a PITA to apply but works. We use on light colored vehicles.

The Sealant is easy to use. Definitely a good product for you to sell your customers to make sure they aren't using potentially harmful paint waxes. The Finishing Solution is definitely an installer use only product (for white cars), as it is a pita until you get the hang of it. Give us a call to get the details on how to use it and definitley plan on testing it on scrap material a few times before you use it on a customer car.

Side note: If you are using the Ultimate film, the Finishing Solution isn't really necessary.

Interesting that it is applied before sending the car back to the customer. I have a sealant I recommend but give a bottle to the customer with every install. I tell them not to apply it for a week or so to allow the film to cure out. Adding a sealant to it before it cures seems like it would greatly slow down the process.

And this should not be an add on. You should do this with every install. Build your pirce into it. if you dont you will be sending cars out without the proper sealants and it will just look worse on you down the road as the film will not hold up as well. I want my installs to look as good as possible as long as possible... thats why I give a bottle of sealant out.
