So we have been having some issues with llumar and i am currently awaiting a response to an email we sent them letting them know that we were fed up and if things don't change and problems don't get solved we will be moving on to another manufacturer. Any input from you guys on who i should look into would be great. Thanks in advance.

So far I've used SunTek, SolarGard, Madico, and Johnsons. I would say work it out with Llumar, if you have to change, maybe Johnsons or people here seem to like Global

The///Man, I'm still using that template you sent me for the Camry's Thank's a bunch. BTW, have you tried Global QDP yet?

Nah, been happy enough with Llumar that I haven't really even thought about anyone else. Their films are so easy to install and look so nice.

worked with many different films over the years. all have some different advantages as well as disadvantages. I left solargard year and a half ago do primarily to service problems. Now i am with sungard black pearl, formally charc. the film is less expensive, less peeling and warranty problems. peels clean on removal. shrinks great as well as elasticity for snapping doors and BG. My sales rep usually meets me once a month, picks up dinner and asks what he can do to help. unless the film and service change I dont plan to switch again

Same here, not going to be a popular choice here prepare to get beat up for it. I second this film, it looks great and have had zero issues. My rep is great, he has not taken me to dinner but delivered film to me when I was in a pinch, but that has a lot to do with them bein local.

I heard sungard gets beat up alot here as well. the hard part in changing products is knowing the film. if you have used one for a long time, of course its hard to make an evaluation. i always compare a film to ones i have not used. takes you out of your comfort zone. it was a long process to make the switch, making sure sungard met all the criteria I wanted in a film.

If you dont know, what you dont know, how can you possibly know?

Pick 5 reputable film suppliers. order or get a 15 to 25ft sample from each. have your tinter do the same back window with each film and one door. then evaluate the benefits of each.

being unfamilar with the film, choose a car that is not to difficult but not to easy. 2dr. cobalt comes to mind for a good test. nice bg curve, dots at the top and doors that have a curve.
