To pull or not to pull? was that the question? personally i dont pull door panels or cut or tuck gaskets. yes there are 2 rubber seals on most vehicles. I noticed on a dodge charger and a lincon town car where the inner gaskets was higher then the outer, you can get small fingers below the first and not see them. this will obviouslt peel at somepoint due to the fingers hitting the second gasket.

My solution was to never shrink the bottom of door glass. i pull all the fingers to the top, the overshrink it. after i set the top and roll the window up i have to stretch the bottom in. if there are no fingers in the bottom it will not peel
