2012 VW Jetta GLI

i'm really starting to like the new VWs. they're making 'em much easier to work on.

for those who aren't skuuured to do anything with door panels these things are cake. you can see the silver trim piece on the panel here.

well that trim piece pops right off using a small tack puller and behind it towards the back of the door is a hex bolt. remove it.

then the top of the panel pops right back and the gasket pulls right out.

i used to cringe everytime i heard the word Jetta. if it's just the new ones that come in then i could tint 'em all day long.

No, I think.

not sure on the golf. but the new tiguan is the same only you don't have a trim piece or screw to remove. the gasket just pulls right out after pulling the top back.

Damn! That looks good! My gfs 06 GLI was a cake walk to. Other than having tight gasket's (pulled them anyway) the rear window was cake.

I didn't think the '12 GLI's were out yet though! She want's one in the worst way!
