Thanks Dev :thumb floor has taken a beating since the pic. Brine and road salt are the main culprits I suspect.

And drew those peel boards on the wall are sashes and panes we've replaced. I throw atleast 20-30 in the dumpster a year that size. Countless other windows on top of that. Check with a local window & door supplier in your area for warranty replacements. The old ones usually get tossed :thumb

Here are some pics of the shop that I'm moving into on April 1st. I've been working out of my house for the last year after getting back into tinting. It's been great working there but it get's cramped sometimes with bigger vehicles. A friend of mine was looking to rent a space he had and I just happen to see him one day at Lowes. I took a look at it and decided it would be perfect. The size is good, it's new and it's on a major road that sees a good amount of traffic everyday. Don't mind the clutter as he was using it for storage and still needs to get some stuff out. I just started priming all the walls today to get them ready for some paint.

Nice and bright. I like the ceiling. :thumb

Thanks TD. Can you believe it has only three high bay 6 bulb flourescent lights? My friend said he has these in his unit next door and they draw very little power and you can see the light they put out. I may put one more in it toward that back corner just to give it a little more light. Still a bunch more work to do.

Nice space Ridler :thumb  The white-faced insulation is why it's so bright from the 3 fixtures you have. Reflects all the light. My uncle had a shop similar in size and layout and it had a black-faced insulation, no amount of light ever made it seem bright enough in there......and it had a few 30" x 48" windows in it too.

I guess I never thought about the insullation. Well I guess that's good since he said he used double what code requires. It's nice a toasty in there even with the heat set at 60. I guess the winters won't be too bad. I'll post more pics as I get things finished. I still need to find or make a reception desk for the office and figure out what type of displays I want to have. More to come!

JJ - I just noticed that your plotter is sitting on something or am I just seeing things? I'm still working on my shop but I'm doing the same type of plotter table. And isn't everything a work in progress? :lol

Here's some updated pics of my shop. Office is almost finished. I need to finish lighting and baseboards but coming along nicely. Almost done.

I got the lighting done tonight. Need a couple more lights but didn't turn out to bad. I also found a reception desk. Just need to clean it up and get rid of the stickers. I got it from a dog grooming business that was moving. Also tested out the base molding to see how they would look. Sorry for the crappy pics. Didn't have the camera with me so the iPhone had to do.
