Hid Kit Question (Bulbs)

Even though you can seal them, the designers try to make it mimic the original bulbs and have where the arc in the hid capsule is in the same position as the filament would be in the housing. You'll get better output with the correct bulb. I'd never retrofit without the correct reflector/projector for hids.

So there would be no way for us to keep them in stock and install same day in our shop without stocking EVERY single HID bulb for every car?

Keep the common ones in stock. Let's say a 9005 bulb. It will fit dang near every chevy truck high beam Fromm 1988 to the present. 9006 will fit every single low beam chevy truck from 1988-2006. H11 will fit the NNBS trucks low beams. So keep in stock 3 different bulbs for every chevy truck/suv on the road. Should be similar with other makes also. U don't wanna go through the hassle of trying to make one bulb fit all.
