Laminate Windows

I am the owner of The Dent Pro, a paintless dent repair company in Virginia.

Laminate windows are a serious issue in my field.

The tempered windows were more resilient, but the laminate windows don't have as much strength and crack.

Has anyone on this forum, with PDR experience, figured out a way to work around this?

I am going to presume your instruments wedged against laminated glass during dent removal is the issue?

If so, are there plastic tools that would work or can you laminate a clear urethane film product (PPF) over the metal of your tools to cushion the contact point?

Tempered is 4 times as strong as annealed glass used in laminate settings, yet tempered is also finicky about it edges being chipped or marred.
