VW Jetta Window Switch

If you pull door panel's be careful on the newer Jetta's. you can break the window switch removing the door panel.

Here is how to keep from causing any damage to the passenger side and rear window switches.

First remove the cover under the inner handle.

Locate the switch plug and unplug the switch from the wiring harness.

Now you are safe to remove the screws and door panel. Once you have removed the inner gasket, you can hang your door panel and plus the window switch back in.

You can leave the switch plugged in to reinstall the door panel.

a good swift pull works better then praying them slowly. and those red pliers that I have are be best door panel clip removing tool I have ever used

I don't understand you panel pullers. To each their own I guess

the difference between pulling panels and not pulling them is getting good work and getting really really good work. However not every panel has to come off to get really really good work.
