new guy here anyone tint in a pop up tent?

Recommended Posts

the reason I ask is because I dont have a big enough garage to tint cars, so my only options is to buy a place use the to two 10x15 pop up tents :/ .I still on a learning process im not a pro just yet any advice I will apprecicate it :), I know its bad to tint outside or even use pop up tents because of thecontamination that can get on the film

I did back in the day when I was strickly mobile. I only use to service dealerships. And I had a few used car guys want me to do work for them. Is was normally more of a BS hassle for trying to tint in. It did work well for some of the other work I use to do. I would only work mobile through places that will sell work for you and give you space to work in. Or check into renting a small bay in your area.

It would be a investment but a Sprinter type van with a roll/pull out tent with inflatable support like a Quonset hut would be nice. Heat and air control from the van. With white mat canvas extra lighting would be minimum. Load the van with generator, tint, tools and lunch for a mobile business in a area where there are several small towns in driving distance so you could service different towns on certain days. Renting a spot to set up should be minimum cost.

This all would be a job to figure out but it is a thought coming from a guy who has spent over 500,000 on lease's in the last 7 years alone. :twocents

If anyone ever runs across a inflatable building like this please let me know and I will work out the details............. I'm ready :beer

I wish I could afford that stuff. That would be the way to go.
