Does anyone use ASWF tint is it a branch of one of the other companies? I have never heard anyone talk about it on this site so I was just curious as to your thoughts on it, or if anyone knows anything about it.

last I knew,

Product made in Las Vegas. They have a machine that is a laminator and coater all in one. They buy the poly and metal materials and put it together. I have used their flat glass films and can't say anything bad about them. I didn't like the poly on the auto films last year early though......

Wonderful, hope their quality is improved by now, so that we can more choices.

Saber ( their 3 year film ) Legend (comparable to ceramic ) Excel ( Comparable to Lulu ATC ) Performer ( Comparable to Lulu ATR ) Impulse ( Also Comparable to ATR ) Metallic ( Full Metal Like Platinum Plus ) Retro ( Color Stable Dyed ) Dimension ( Ceramic, Comparable to Air Blue, Rejects less heat about 7% less )

Hope this helps you somewhat....

Yeah we tested their ceramic film (ASWF) and it came back completely ghosted out around where heat shrinking was applied. Stripped the film off to put something else on and it stripped the coating off the Defroster lines. In more than 30 years, I have never seen this happen (New install that had to be redone).

Had to replace the back glass for the customer. Called ASWF about the situation, and they said "Hey thanks for the information, and we will get back with you." Not a peep out of them. Put this film on at your own risk.....
