Hey everyone, just was shaing pics of our new second shop we opened this week. Just showing everyone what can be done to a existing small building with No garage roll up doors and a low budget. We took a old nail salon and turned it into a perfect tint/audio shop in under 3 weeks with 7,000 budget that can easily fit 2 full size cars in. Best part is the central ac/heat-no more tinting in hot bay! We had to fist install the 12x8ft roll up door ($700 from steel door depot.com) easy install-was time consuming cutting through the wall to make the 12ft hole.. All I do is tint windows and was able to successfully install the door with the help of the audio installer. We than had to demo the existing interior walls, and add new walls, counter and displays and also added some perf. vinyl out front. In under 3 weeks me and a audio installer(has a small background knowledge of carpentry) were able to do everything from start to finish. We didn't spend more than 7,000 total between materials, door lumber and all the new displays/paint. We avoided having to rent a exiting car shop with bay doors that are to expensive and more than I wanted to pay. Hope this motivates everyone to stay open minded to new shop ideas In the future.

Lol thank you , I was waiting for a comment about that. We offer 3 year warranty solar control for $99 on coupes only during our sale periods. All other cars are higher and we are using suntek carbon for our high end brand for normal retail price.

Looks good... for a $99 tint shop.. :p

Its does look really good. Where is it? And isnt this your Third Store?

Did you purchase or lease the location? Most building owners I assume would have a strong opinion on that conversion to a building. I have tried.

This is our third, original shop was to small for the high volume we do. We lease the buildings, just searched a while to find a building owner who was willing to let us install the door, for a $700 door and 5 hours of install time I would do it all over again else where if need be. We could take the door with us if we moved and rebuild the wall for a few hundred. If we leave the door the building owner could easily get a 1,000 more a month for rent from another tenant which is why he was willing to let us do the build. Is the XPsuntek alot more than the carbon? We haven't made a permanent decision on our high end brand yet, have been trying different offers from other brands that offer a lifetime warranty with guaranteed no fading. 9 out of 10 customers here though don't even Aska brand they simply want the cheapest option possible on there car and thn still expect more discounts on it after its finished. We now have3 tinters all who have over 20 years exp each so the quality is next to perfect, just focus on high volume year round.
