thanks! I'll take you up on it....

what type of grass should I use that won't turn brown when my two females dogs do their business?

:beer

Thats a tuff one...But depending on where you live and how much sun those areas get you can use a Warm Season Grass like Zoysia or Bermuda...I'm more a fan of Zoysia but its so expensive....But it is like the most expensive carpet you can buy....And doesn't need much care.....

I just need more information about the area to give you a better answer...Dogs have a level of certain chemicals depending on what type of dog and what they eat...But the easiest thing, you will notice if the grass/soil is wet from Rain or a storm the areas the dog's go to the bathroom wont turn brown....But if it is really dry those areas turn brown...So if you just use a hose keep the areas wet they dont turn brown...This is because the water in the soil dilutes those certain chemicals...

I'm guessing but that might be Zoysia grass or St. Augustine or Bahia grass...If it was Fescue or Blue Grass ( Poa ) It would of burst with the guy walking on it.....Thats how tuff the root zone is in Warm Season Grass.....

That would happen all the time on the golf course when I was working there when I was little....Irrigation is awesome until it breaks and you have to dig it up....And replace....
