Had a customer come back with a "spot" on driver side door, newer honda. I was able to fix it easily, its getting cold here so naturally things aren't drying as fast as we'd like. As I'm pushing out the spot, he brings up "tintdude.com." Says his buddy on a honda owners forum told him to check it out. He pulls up his account on my garage pc and scrolls down to this guys comment:

"Go to tintdude.com and you'll find out real fast how Mickey Mouse that industry is. Most of the tinters who post there consider all customers idiots who are trying to get something for nothing. According to them there is no such thing as a perfect tint job and you should just be happy if it's tolerable."

Just found it interesting, I was reading some post the other day and someone commented that they felt that this site wasn't read by customers.

guy left happy and said his neighbor would be calling to set up appointment. Doing the neighbors 2011 mustang friday...

The thread you link to is 6 years old and by people making comments such as,

I consider myself very lucky. My next door neighbor owns a tint shopt and did a flawless 5% tint (35% front windows as required by tx law). I guess he didn't want to make a mistake and risk waking up in the moorning and seeing me take a crap in his lawn.

the only problem I have is theres a one littile fiber in the window... u cant see it unless u put your face in it or use a magnifieng glass...

and they wonder why we think some are idiots .... :blink
