Customer won't pay

I'm wondering if anyone has ever had a customer not wany to pay for services. In September I did a flat glass job and the customer specified that they wanted a white frost. I gave him a few options even a white out and he said he wasnt sure if the city would let him completely white out the windows. So he chose the white matte and told me to go ahead and do it. Did the job and he told me good job and then two weeks later he called and said his supervisor didnt like it. Problem is that they installed heavy stoves and ovens behind the glass and I could no longer reach the glass. So after going back and forth for many weeks with the supervisor via email (because he doesnt answer the phone) he says he will not pay because he is not happy with the finished product. He can still see through the glass. Any suggestions on what to do next?

Unless you have a contract with a signature on it....I doubt you will be able to lien anything or even have success in small claim a court. Tell them you will remove the film they are unhappy with. If they still won't pay, rip off the film and leave the adhesive on the glass and tell them to have a nice day!
