The rear roll ups were such a pain. They had seals that surround the sides and top, similar to the Chevy impala. Anyone know if theses are removable... I tried but they didn't seem to be.

The rear roll ups were such a pain. They had seals that surround the sides and top, similar to the Chevy impala. Anyone know if theses are removable... I tried but they didn't seem to be.

ive done a heap of these unfortunately, so what I do is clean the seals througly then poor slip all over them wind the window up and tint. Slips straight in no problem, only way to do them unless ur like my competition and cut it sort and leave huge gaps.

cake, rear screen basically flat, rear quarters no need to shrink, loads of room inside.

 

Rear roll downs - remover door card, 2 screws underneath handle, pop off, 2minutes

tape vertical seals

pattern on outside as normal, minimal shrink

clean, including window surrounds

install - slide rear in first, small bunch in middle then slide in front, position, lock down top, heat and file if that's your style 

window up, squeegee and side swipe both sides

 

inside trim/surround is pretty deep so can see the possible problem but when done above method its no drama
