Tint on a lease car

the majority of cars that i do are brand new leases for an acura dealership.  they are 3 year leases for employees of the dealership. depending on the model you get acura pays so much and the dealer pays so much.  most of the employees get me to tint their brand new leases and they never remove the tint when turning it in....as a matter of fact......the one technician who gets it done will always leave his on and the sales manager has the detail / recon department remove ALL the tint except for the rear window.  he says he will sell the car as a lease return with 5% on the rear window because removing the rear tint can damage the defrosters but wants to have everything else stripped off the sides before they do a used car inspection and see what all it mechanically needs.....

what usually happens is detail will not remove the door panel and will not totally scrape the glass and the adhesive ends up pulling the seal down into the door and making this glass slow. then the customers come back.

detailers are paid flat rate....so removing that door panel is too much extra work :lol2
