What's going on with my window?

Recommended Posts

I've got a 2-10 warranty on my house wonder if that is covered? I doubt it.

I'm with Mike, looks like low-e failure or corrosion. It comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. We've been changing a lot of glass because of this lately. Most of it still under warranty. If you can scrounge up the window manufacturer, original window order or builder and it's under 10 years old you may be able to file a claim. They are usually pro-rated and for materials(glass) only. You'll have to pay for the install, unless you do it yourself. Out of pocket the glass would cost you somewhere from $40-$80, depending on where you get it from.

You'll probably start seeing the rest go in due time.......here's a pretty bad one from not too long ago,
