Id have to say after using the kobalt all day. It was a good investment. Fan blows super hard. It gets really hot, and that little plate thats in the end of the nozzle(the one that usually comes loose and falls out) is actually part of the nozzle and not tack welded in. Also has a cool down setting on one of the switch positions (awesome for drying door panels)

I noticed at about 860 its just cool enough that i dont burn the edge of the film as easily

It also sits upright when not in use

I started with a $20 Wagner HT 1000. It works, but too slow, and no temp adjust.

For me, this Porter Cable performs much better. :flamer

(I almost bought one of the Kobalts from Lowes - awesome warranty for sure)
