That is not too high!

Please do not set up shop and start undercutting prices, it just creates a race to the bottom. This is a skilled trade and deserves decent money.

If anything set yourself apart and charge more, and give more. Do better work, use better film, have a nicer shop and be a better salesman.

Anyone else?? id really like some pointers..can you make good money is the trade? from what i gathered its pretty good money..what have others made just starting out?

Don't plan on making any money for at least the first 6 months if not first couple years. Especially if you're already talking about being cheaper than the competition.

i wasnt really expecting to make alot right off the bat. a year sounds about right,that gives me some time to get alot of practice under my belt..ive reconsidered offering a lower price after thinking about it..like i said before,thats why i came here..for advice

Our trade is plagued by hacks and cutthroats. Take some time to hone your skills-as much time as needed to offer a professional quality job. Make sure you value your customers and the vehicles/houses they own. Most of them have worked hard and paid a lot of money for them. Don't be the "cheap guy".

thank you for the reply..i am definitely a respectfull guy..i want to give customers a quality job for what they pay for..i would never try to cheat someone.
