Hi everyone. I have used Suntek Carbon on autos and love it. I have recently been contacted to do a dealership show room and I was thinking about going with Suntek. They asked for the best heat reducing film that I have. I have two questions. For anyone doing commercial tinting in NC, could you pm me what I need as far as doing it here in NC? Don't wanna get there and not have what I need. Second, why is the usual amount per square ft for commercial? Don't wanna be too cheap or expensive. Thanks

I'd use syds15. Keep in mind commercial is cake and very quick n easy. I quote fairly low because I pre cut and move fast. I also pull all the vinyl seals and replace after tint...quicker for me and much cleaner install.

Thanks for the reply. They want to keep it fairly light. They want to focus on the heat reduction but want to be able to be seen on the inside

That's what a dealer of mine wanted. 1000sq/ft of 35% later......they want it darker too much glare.

I'd show them UV40... see what they think of that.. and then UV50. 

 

If you go too light, they aren't going to get enough heat reduction for the investment they'll be making, IMO.

Yes, I always offer to throw up some samples....sucks if you're new to flat and don't have it on hand though.
