3m Dusted Crystal w/Dusted Crystal Logo at Federal Courthouse NY

Some 3m DC i did recently at the federal courthouse here in NY.  Logo was a PITA

I have done around 20 or more of them here in MN, smallest was 10" in diameter.

how do you go about transferring that to the glass? im doing a job with suntek white frost film that has a logo and store hours cut out of the film and was wondering what the best method to transfer it to the glass is. ive tried reverse rolling it onto the glass but ive ripped part of the logo trying to peel off the liner.

When you find someone that can produce a print on clear that will look like Dusted Crystal, let me know.....

From what I have seen from Decorative Films LLC, not close enough.

 

How did that one compare side by side with Dusted Crystal ............ ?

Honestly, it looks closer in the pics. It was a bit grainer in person. And just a bit whiter. The original spec for this job was DC, but when we did the mock up, the architect thought there was not enough contrast. .. We had to do 4 different mock ups and this was what they settled on. I'm actually glad we did not have to use vinyl. Installing all these pieces ( 40 ) was a breeze printed on clear.
