2014 corvette front windshield

Has anyone tinted a complete front windshield on one of these? I got one lined up to do later in the week and wanted to see if anyone else had tried to do one.

HI!

We have.  There were no issues.  The client had concerns about his heads up display....we re-assured him that the film would not interfere with it. 

The car in my signature has a full windshield with PhotoSync 75%

Windshield was a piece of cake, will post pics later today. used bounce and top and bottom 30% of windshield used wax and the film shrunk with no problem, more of a pain installing it then shrinking it.

Just curious why you don't cut the film on the sides before you shrink? Also are you wet shrinking it?Doesn't really matter, what ever gets it done. Just wondering.

The reason for the overlap is since i hadn't done one of these before I wasn't sure if i would need to shrink any fingers on the sides, with the overlap you can pull the film and shrink the sides, old school trick. As for wet shrinking there really is no need when you use wax just extra time you waste but if your not sure you have a good shrink then do a wet shrink.

Ya I'm no stranger to the side shrink. I asked if was wet shrank because I thought it look we under the edges. Nice work. I've done PPF on a couple but no tint as of yet.

I think that may be the wax that you see, I think that even that wasn't necessary, it was a pretty easy shrink.

Nice job. I been fw1 wax spray on all my back glass. Ever since I did a zo6 back with it I forgot my bp. Used it and its awesome.did the back window in sun teck crap standard.and shrinked so easy I'm impressed you should try it !
