ive only dealt with two different types of film since I have been in the biz. what I have found to work pretty well to get the glue off, is when your peeling the tint off, pull back across the film that is still applied to the glass at about a 30 degree angle and pull ever so slowly. takes some time to get it off but sure beats scrubbing a back glass for 2 hrs.

I just retinted my car and it had SG (sshhh) on it that was 6 years old. it didn't leave any glue on the back glass but it did on the sides. kinda worried me too.
