Massive bubbling

Hello guys,

I encountered some glass panels, which i did some 18 months ago, sporting massive bubbling.

Could anyone drop me some hints as to what's going on here?

Film is 4-mil clear safety film.

Appreciate any advice I can get.

Thanks alot folks!

May be a combination of too much slip and not enough Wheaties.

I've seen way to many "installers" treating safety or security film like a sun control film and not giving it the full attention it needs.

A few years ago I saw results like that from a guy with "30 years" experience.

Some "installers"  just don't treat slip removal like its the second most improtant part of their job.

Do your best to NEVER  present the opportunity to have to say  " :dwiwd "

Yes it will.

But what will it look like when you are done????

If you do not have a 6" blue blade channel squeegee ( NOT  the blue max) or similar from Interwest ,44tools etc

GET ONE !

Or two.

Just a thought...Why 4mil 10 + stories up?? :dunno :dunno

Use a good squeegee... No turbos, No Blue Max auto squeegee, no wood handled old-schooler squeegee, no bump tool, no pro-squeegee 8", nothing wider than 6"...

4 mil is relatively easy to install. The right tool and the proper technique make all of the difference. :thumb

Well you just stated what not to use, why not help help him out with what to use? Just saying!

Good idea! :lol

This blade works well on 4mil plus it is a lightweight setup. Pair it with an Unger handle and a 6" SS channel:  http://www.vquestfilms.com/cart/blue-power-max-bade-120.html
