Tint has a very tough time to adhere to dot matrix on top and bottom of windshield, it's not that large of an area, so I didn't really think too much of it (unlike rear windows on the older Sentras, Mustangs, Integras which have extra large dot matrix areas that need to be cut around most of the time).  Recently had 2 different windshields and had to do them each twice. For the first one, I cleaned and scraped the dot matrix with a razor (which usually is enough) it was falling off the glass and just would not stick AT ALL.  Took it off and re-tinted but cutting around the dot matrix and it stayed down very well.  For second one, I razored the dot matrix, used 800 grit sandpaper and lightly sanded it down and this time the top stuck but the bottom still would not stick!  had to re-tint by cutting around the dot matrix again!  i usually don't have too much difficulty with dot matrix, but this car has been giving me fits!!  I should just cut around all dot matrix from now on, re-tinting is cutting into my profits!   :mad LOL
