Any tips how to approach the BIG Cars dealerships?

Recommended Posts

find out who is the "call" maker...

introduce your self.. be ready not to get any work at all...

do that for as long as it takes... wait until they see your face and know your name...

then be open minded to give small gifts like coffee card or some retarded thing...  other words kiss a$$

hope they will give you one....

but remember, there is usually no loyalty... unless you do free work.

good luck buddy.

:yeah  But I will add. Most dealershits already have a tinter lined up they use.Try finding out who they are currently using and what kind of film they are being offered and at what price. Dealershits generally look for the cheapest price. Offer them a product around the same price they are already paying, but better. Instead of free coffee, maybe give them one free tint job to show them what you are offering and your ability to get the job done.

We had multiple car dealers in our earlier days. They are all ears when it comes to saving money or getting something for free that they can add to the gross on a sale. IMO, car dealers are the scum of the earth, if you know that going in than you are better prepared for the inevitable BS that will follow. If you want a sure fire way to get in with one, Call the dealership and find out who the service manager is and who the GM is. Show up there, well dressed and with professional cards and samples of your film offerings. Tell them your ideas and tint something on the lot of their choosing. ..for free. Once you are done with the car, bring them out and show them your work and why your services are unique and valuable. At that point offer them a floor plan to tint 4-5 cars of YOUR choosing. IE cars with "eyeball", the ones you know will sell quickly. Tell them you are willing to float them on those cars until they sell, then you get paid. We did this with multiple different dealers, we showed them that we were reliable, quality orientated and could accommodate their needs. Once we got in with them we never lost one that we didn't want . ..then I dumped all of them.

And then have your KY handy, bc you will be bent over with their idea of loyalty. Few guys here actually have a legit relationship with the dealerships, most don't.
