For the shop owners who have independent salesmen go out and sell flat glass jobs: How big of a city would one have to be in for this to be lucrative for both parties?(mine is about 150,000) What kind of % do you pay these salespeople? Any other comments welcome concerning the effectiveness of this approach are appreciated.

yup, flock of seagulls was hot back then

That dudes hair was freaking hilarious. It's funny to look back at what so many people thought was cool, or what the latest craze was.

You see the 80's style starting to come back again. It's amazing how most people are just sheep caught up in the herd.

Due to seasonal changes in income it is a difficult proposition to maintain a man in a town with only 150k people. We have 1000k and I feel it is marginal. Pay the man 10% of all your sales, cars and other wise, and you will also get a manager that will stop into dealers, assault people in the street, kick lazy tinters sitting around in shop and generally do what is necessary to keep sales overall as high as possible. The bible says 10% won't hurt you, so give it a shot.
