Hello all,

 

   My name is Brent and I own Prive Detail in New Orleans. We are a new company that does detailing and now PPF. I have been detailing for many yrs now and thought it was time to step up and do PPF. 

 

It def is a new challenge for me and im trying to learn all the tricks to produce the best results. any encouraging words and advise is welcomed here!!!

 

My first job was for a friend on his 2015 911 gt3 full hood full fenders and bumper and mirrors and i must say it is nerve wrecking. I was not expecting that to be my first car to do. What sucks is I feel like I didnt do good enough. I know with time ill get better and faster. I will be doing more practice on my own cars and friends cars to get better.

 

Right now I am using Premium Shield Elite. and I like the material so far. I have also used a few differ 3m products but like the PS much better.

Call up all the film brands and ask if they will send you a sample roll to test. Sometime they will give you 30" x 20'!

 

You definitely should try out Suntek and Xpel Ultimate.

You said you wish you could have done better with it. Did you have any questions or things that were giving you issues? Those 911s are fairly easy. What color was it?

well I was doing the job at his house.and I was having issues with debris flying around and getting onto the film as I was installing it. But I was able to go back and fix it.
