The last one I did, I didn't leave gaps. If you cut this to fit, it will still be bigger on the inside(on the sides) because of the extreme curve. I cut to overlap, very little, and carefully trim after install. If any gaps, fill with a black paint pen after the window dries. Good luck. They can be tough if you haven't done one.

I definitely have not done one of these yet, and typically with old cars like this, I get the windows during restoration or a paint job.  This guy forgot to have the window tinted before reinstalling  :unsure:   Where can I get a black paint pen?  Is it something special or just paint?  I've used some black pin striping tape on convertible back windows which seemed to look fine too.

Arts and craft section at Walmart or Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Remember the old rattle paint pens. Get one in a matte black or non gloss if you can find it. Or the blackout pen from the tint suppliers
