Hi guys ,

Tinted the new pasara today and found that they have put an automatic blind in the rear deck which has little nylon wheels that runs firmly against the glass or tint from about 15" down from the top edge of the glass.

I have no doubt this will scratch the film and cause warrantys if not noted to the custy. There is a manual switch which can be used to keep it down, if the blind is up it automatically goes down when you hit reverse.

Yeah, a fellow tinter told me about this today.

I never usually believe a word he says,      but this sounded like a typical car manny thing that they would do just to stuff tinters up.

I would advise a bit of 'Do Not Wind Down' tape on the manual switch and a disclaimer left in the car advising the customer not to use the screen as this will not be covered under warranty

Might be a great note to make in the warranty info along with informing the custy before and after installation.

Haven't done 1 yet..

I wonder if that screen allows more than 35% of light to pass through??

Ohh... I forgot... If it's from factory, then it's legal...

I wonder if a car comes with a kilo of crack ice in the glove box from factory that it would be legal...
