A couple of bumps on the head or a smashed finger will convince you quick that there is indeed a better way.

This is the one tip I'd prefer to keep from the newbies.

hey TTS I think snap-on makes a 'tool' for that it's a little mini C clamp with a knob on it so its easy to turn, AND a bright tag to you don't forget to take it off.
